Oxus has been notified pursuant to the provisions of the Companies Act 1985 in a letter dated 8 December 2004 that The Capital Group Companies, Inc. on behalf of its affiliates, including Capital International, Inc., holds 11,600,000 ordinary shares representing 4.69% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company, of which 7,720,000 ordinary shares representing 3.12% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company are held by the Emerging Markets Growth Fund, Inc.

Separately, Oxus has been notified in a letter dated 9 December 2004 that RAB Capital plc, acting as investment manager for a number of commingled funds, holds 10,488,530 ordinary shares representing 4.24% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.
