Oxus has been notified pursuant to the provisions of the Companies Act 1985 in a letter dated 23 December 2004 that Fidelity International Limited and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, being non-beneficial holders, now holds 14,526,095 ordinary shares representing 5.87% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.

Separately, Oxus has been notified in a letter dated 13 December 2004 that Wellington Management Company LLP now holds 11,654,500 ordinary shares representing 4.71% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company. Wellington Management Company LLP holds the shares in Oxus in its capacity as discretionary investment manager and the shares are registered in the name of various separate accounts or their custodians or nominees.
