Oxus has been notified pursuant to the provisions of the Companies Act 1985 in a letter dated 14 January 2005 that The Bank of New York Europe Limited, on behalf of the funds under its administration, holds 12,163,029 ordinary shares representing 4.77% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.
