Oxus Gold plc ("Oxus" or "the Company") received notification on 1st April 2005 pursuant to the provisions of the Companies Act 1985 that Wellington Management Company, have reduced their shareholding to 10,215,345 ordinary shares, representing 3.56% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.
