Oxus Gold plc ("Oxus" or "the Company") received notification on 10th May 2005 pursuant to the provisions of the Companies Act 1985 that Wellington Management Company, have reduced their shareholding to 6,080,988 ordinary shares representing 2.12% of the ordinary issued share capital of 286,933,836 of the Company.
