Oxus Gold plc ("Oxus" or "the Company") received notification on 14 October 2005 pursuant to the provisions of the Companies Act 1985 that RAB Capital plc, acting as investment manager for a number of commingled funds, has decreased its shareholding by 4,290,000 ordinary shares and now holds 50,141,059 ordinary shares of the company representing 17.43% of the issued share capital.

RAB Capital does not act as a custodian for its clients and therefore the shares are held in the nominee name of the custodian of our clients, which is CSFB Nominees Ltd and Morgan Stanley & Co. International Ltd.
