Oxus Gold plc ("Oxus" or "the Company") received notification on 14 December 2005 pursuant to the provisions of the Companies Act 1985 that Credit Suisse First Boston (Europe) Limited, have an interest in 8,800,000 ordinary shares of the company representing 3.06 per cent of the issued share capital.
